NAB nabs six drug users

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, August 30, 2018: Narcotics Affairs and Border (NAB) police team today apprehended six drug users in connction with a viral video on Facebook for using drugs.

After receiving a viral video clip on Facebook at an unknown area by the officials of NAB police a team of NAB trace out the location at Khergao Sabal Leikai Imphal East and raided.

The six people apprehended from the location have been identified as Moinam Babu,27, son of M. Najamuddin of Naharup Thongkhong, Imphal East district, Md. Mustakim,29, son of Md. Abdulnur of Kshetri Chandam Leikai, Imphal East district, Thoudam Harikrishna Singh,34, son of late Th. Ibobi Singh of Khurai Thangjam Leikai, Imphal East district, T. Deepak Sharma,23, son of late T. Ibohalbi Sharma of RIMS quarter PT. II, Imphal West district, Kangujam Brokson Singh, 23, son of K. Bhobon Singh of Nagamapal Singjubung Leirak, Imphal West district and Rokey Rongmei, 31, son of RL Rongmei of Senapati Kasom Village, presently staying at Chingmeirong Sangakpham.

The drug users have been handed over to a rehabilitation centre of Imphal East district under the knowledge of their guardians.
