GTV; Rashtriya Poshan Maah launched in Chandel

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, September 4, 2018: Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month) for Chandel district  was officially launched today by secretary (revenue/CAF & PD)and Go To Village nodal officer, T. Ranjit Singh.

The Rashtriya Poshan Maah which is going to be observed throughout the month was officially launched today at Purum Chumbang Village community hall alongside the 11th episode of the Go to Village mission camp which is also being held at the village today.

As part of the mission program besides the services provided on spot, different departments like CAF and PD, agriculture, horticulture, education department etc. distributed many items to their respective beneficiaries.

The village mission camps were also held in Thoubal, as The 10th phase of at three different venues.

In Imphal East forest and environment minister Th. Shyamkumar attended the mission camp held at the Poiroukhonjin Community Hall, covering the villages of Tulihal, Poiroukhongjil, Kaina and Poirou Thangkhul.

It was also organised at Takhel Chingtam Community Hall covering the villages of Takhel, Kamuchingjil, Sanjenbam Khunou,  Sanjenbam Khullel, Sangsabi, Kambongpul Panthabi, Chingkhei Khullel, Kharasom and Salakhul.

The second one at Kairang Popular Union Club, Kairang Maning Leikai covering the villages of Kontha Ahallup and Kairang Meitei.

The third one at Keikhu Community Hall covering the villages of  Keikhu Kabui, Thangbrijao and  Naharup Awang Leikai.

In Bishnupur three camps were opened at Pokhrambam Haraopham Community Hall for Thounaojam Pukhrambam and Lourembam (II) villages, Sunusiphai Mayai Leikai Community Hall for Phubala, Sunusiphai andNaranseina villages and Santhong Bazar for Kwakta Gram Panchayat W. No 4-9.

In Churachandpur camps were held at Charoi Khullen Village for Kangvai and Leimatak covering about four villages of Charoi Khullen, Kokodan Khullen, Majuron Kabui and Dimjanglong.

In Kakching the camps were held at Laimanai Community Hall for Mayang Lamjao Gram Panchayat and Waikhong Gram Panchayat.

In Jiribam the amps for delivery of services to the public at their doorsteps were held at Sonapur Government Primary School, Sonapur and Ahmedabad Government High School, Ahmedabad. The villages covered by the camps are Sonapur, Aglapur, Ahmedabad-I and Ahmedabad-II.
