Fake Board certificate issuance of class XII exposed

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, September 9, 2018: Socialist Students’ Union of Manipur (SSUM) has today exposed illicit trade on education being carried out by a gang which provides Class XII passed Certificates and Mark Sheets to students.
In a statement SSUM stated that the collects huge amount of money from the students and make them get a Class XII passed certificate along with excellent grade in their mark sheet.
The statement said the gang informed the students of admitting them at schools which is stated to have been affiliated to Grameen Mukt Vidyalaya Shiksha Sansthan, Delhi (GMVSS) for appearing the Class XII examination and provided them Admit card.
Without appearing the examination, the gang provided them certificate and mark sheets with good grade of passing the examination from another Board identified as “North West Accreditation Commission NE (NWAC – NE)” in September 1 and 2 this year, it said.
Some of the students who already had got the certificates of Class XII passed have been admitted to some of the Colleges and are even appearing the 1st and 2nd Semester examinations.
The student union draws the attention of education minister Th. Radheshyam to conduct an enquiry and punish those involved in the issuing of the fake certificate under fake board at the earliest possible time.
SSUM questions the reason for issuing certificate from another board while the admission was to another board and that too students without appearing examination. It warns all those students who get these certificates to surrender. It appeals the Manipur University authority to be cautious over the matter issuing registration number, the statement further states.
