KSA denounces counting of Teli Badi and Nepali as OBC

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, September 9, 2018: Kangliepak Students Association Manipur (KSA) has opposed the inclusion of Teli Badi and Nepali in OBC to the notification for recruitment of the Multi Tasking Staffs at the directorate of education (S).

The student body  has banned recruitment of the multi tasking force for inclusion of outsiders as OBC in the state.

Addressing in a news conference  at KSA Khuyathong office today, President  M. Chetan said when there has already been an agreement to flush out the outsiders from the voter list of eight Assembly Constituencies of the state and to reserve the seat for indigenous people in state Assembly election and inclusion of the outsiders as OBCs and reserving two seats for OBC in the recruitment of jobs out of 410 seats in state government department is humiliation to the demand and agreement reached between the government and the KSA.

He said the current BJP government is trying to re-recruit the same by terminating the previous recruitment notice issued dung the Congress government rule on May 2016.

No seat reservation was allotted to any non-locals in the OBC category by the Congress government during their rule, he added.

Until the reservation of seat for non-locals in the recruitment for the multi tasking force has been removed, KSA will ban the recruitment, said Chetan.
