RTI seminar in Thoubal

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, October 6, 2018: As part of Celebration of Right to Information-2018 (5th to 9th October, 2018), a district level seminar on RTI was held at the counting hall of DC office complex, Thoubal today. The seminar was organised by Manipur Information Commission in association with district administration, Thoubal.

The seminar included interactive sessions on vital aspects of RTI Act including academic sessions from Dr. Ch. Narendra Singh, Advocate on “The concept of RTI”, Th. Ibobi Singh, state chief information commissioner on “The role of Manipur Information Commission towards providing information to citizen”, Wahengbam Joykumar Singh, co-convener, NCPRI on “Role of citizen in effective implementation of the RTI Act” and S. Inao Singh, deputy registrar (Judicial-I), Manipur Information Commission on “Responsibility of the PIO and FAA”.

Deputy commissioner, Thoubal, Haobam Rosita.DLOs, staff of DC office and officials of various departments also attended the semomar.
