BMS head office locked

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, October 7, 2018: Volunteers of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Manipur State today locked the head office of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, Manipur State located at Keisampat Thokchom Leikai against the nomination of chairperson to other person without any proper information right after additional chief secretary (L&C) Dr Suhel Aktar was nominated and resume work as the chairperson of Manipur Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Speaking to media persons, BMS Manipur State General Secretary L. Sanatombi Devi said such inappropriate political kind of influence is strongly condemned and will not accept by BMS, New Delhi and Manipur. She appealed the concern authority to intervene in the issue and to stay the previous nominations.

She said if the concern fails to comply, state government and concern department must take responsibility of any unwanted incident.

Sanatombi strongly taking note of the sanction amount of Rs 339312090 illegally in the name of skill development, she demanded to dispatch the un-dispatch  educational benefit, maternity benefit been for the BMS affiliated  unions.
