KN Singh AA Moirang claimed State Level Age Group title

Pothashang News Service, Imphal, October 7, 2018: KN Singh Athletic Academy Manipur claimed the champion title of the 38th State Age Group Athletic  Championship 2018 organised by Athletic Association of Manipur which concluded at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

The second spot of the meet was bagged by SAI RC while PRSC Pourabi team.

On the last day action of the meet, M.Janenanda of KNSAA Moirang claimed the gold medal in the high jump with a timing of 1.45 meter in the U-18 category while compatriot Rajesh Riyal and N.William of MMC collects the silver and bronze medals.

In high jump Men, W.Rajeshkumar of KNSAA Moirang claimed the gold medal with 1.60 meter while Th.Roshan of MPSC fetch the silver medal with 1.45 meter.

SAI RC Nganthoi ran her way to the gold medal in the 100 meter race in the U-14 Girls with a timing of 13.39 second while Rasma of KNSAA fetch the silver with 14.37 second and Ng.Regiya of FUC took the settle for the bronze medal with 14.68 seconds.

In the Men 4X100 meter Relay race, PRSC Pourabi team claimed the gold medal which comprises Letjakai, Tiba Robert, W.Yaiphaba, M.Athen with a timing of 44.47seconds while NSU claimed the silver medal with 45.04 second with Kumar Yadav, Zenson VJ, Ch.Ranjan, Sanjita Das representing the team. The bronze medal was bagged by MPSC team with L.Dhanabir, H.Herojit, L.Athouba, K.Romeshchandra claiming with 46.30 second.

As for the 4X100 meter Relay race, MPSC claimed the gold medal with A.Surbala, S.Luxmi, K.Bibicha, S.Rebita taking 1 minute and 16 second while PRSC runner Jenimax, N.Chauba, N.Dhanapati, N.Ichaltombi fetch the silver medal with 1 minute and 7.28 seconds.
