Wildlife office provides call numbers to report incident

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, December 1, 2018: With increase in the killing of livestock by unknown suspected beast the chief conservator of forest (Wildlife) informs the public to take precautionary measures immediately to prevent attack by the predator on the livestock.

The department suggests that the livestock should be properly caged; double cover may be there on the cage; proper lighting of the surroundings where the livestock is kept; clean the bushes in your surroundings; and not to be panic.

The department also urges to inform of your area regarding sighting attack by Wild
animals.

It also made request not to kill the wild killer if caught and asks to inform the forest department for which five phone numbers have been provided.
