Tribute to editor Yendrenbam Mangi

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, December 21, 2018: The All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) today condoled the sudden demise of Senior Editor Yendrenbam Mangi Ningthouja at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

A two minutes silence was observed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

The floral tribute was lead by AMWJU, general secretary.

A press release by AMWJU said Yendrenbam Mangi Ningthouja served as editor for local dailies  Wayel Kati, Nonganlakpa, Kangleipaki Meira, Matamgi Yakairol, Huiyen Lanpao, Echel Express and Pandam Manipuri edition.

Mangi passed away on yesterday due to an illness. He was 68 and left behind his wife, a daughter and a son.

Members and participant in the condolence also shared the pain and sorrow with the family members on the untimely demise of the senior editor Yendrenbam Mangi Ningthouja.
