4 arrested with US Dollars

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 1, 2019: Officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence Regional Unit, lmphal have seized 102000 US Dollars having a value of Rs.72,56,280 from the possession of four persons.

A press statement released by the Imphal unit of the directorate said the four persons were identified as Shankar Prasad Sharma, aged about 46 years old, residence of Mantripukhri , Shiva Sharma, aged about 44 years old, resident of Moreh, Varun Bhalla, aged about 23 years old from Burari, North Delhi and Manmohan, aged about 42 years old resident ofJahangir Puri, N.S. Mandi, Delhi.

The four persons have been arrested and a case has been taken up under the Customs Act 1962. Further investigation is on, the release added.
