Poppy plantation in 102 acres destroyed

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 16, 2019: In continuation of destruction of poppy cultivation in Manipur a joint team of NAB, NCB, home gards, Kangpokpi district police, 4 IRB and 38 AR led by SP, NAB and ASP, NAB today conducted poppy destruction drive at Langkhong hill range and surrounding areas under Kangpokpi district, Saikul PS.

In the drive poppy plantation of about 102 acres which would have yielded 1020 kg of opium was destroyed.
