State level media certification committee re-constituted

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 22, 2019: The State Level Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) has been re-constituted as per an order issued by Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur, today in partial modification of the Office Order, dated March 6.

The re-constituted MCMC includes Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur as Chairman, Additional CEO/Jt. CEO, Manipur as Member Secretary, Observer appointed by ECI, director (IPR), Manipur, an IIS Officer (News Editor, AIR, Imphal), Independent Journalist/Citizen and Intermediary Expert/Social Media Expert as members, said an official statement.

The re-constitution of the member has been done in pursuance of ECI’s letter no. 491/Paid News/2019/Communication, dated February, 25, it added.
