Rohen Philem to cycle for “Pulwama attack”

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 30: Rohen Philem a young traveller on cycle has decided to conduct a lone cycle drive for ‘Pulwama attack’ showing solidarity to the departed soul to the victims.

He said, “I want to honour them as I am citizen of the country.”

The 24 years old cyclist Rohen Phirem from Moirang stated during a news conference held at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul, Imphal yesterday.

Speaking to media he said the ride will start from Jammu to Kanyakumari during the month of June and July under the theme “Humanity and Environment”. The aim of his ride is to give awareness of the theme along his journey.

He will conduct fund drive in connection with the ‘Pulwama attack’ which will be delivered to the family members of the victims, he added.

He said the cycle ride will show the entire country that north eastern people do bother any issue of the country as the people are a part of the country. He further said if the people of north eastern region do bother issues like Pulwama attack, central government and other people of the mainland India should consider the issues of the region.
