Awareness and Registration camp for soldier general duty held

Pothashang News Service: Imphal 29, 2019: Khuga Battalion orgainsed an “Awareness & Registration Camp’ through ‘Mobile Interactive Terminal for Rural Area’ (MITRA) vehicle on 29 April at Saipum village, Churachandpur. The camp was organised to reach out to the Women amongst local youth to promulgate and register them for the Soldier General Duty (Women Military Police) recruitment rally. The Online Registration dates are open till 08 June 2019.

A large number of aspirants including wards of ESM attended the event and 22 Girls got registered with the Career Counseling Cell of Khuga Bn wherein, their online applications would be submitted and a coaching capsule would be organised to prepare them before Army Recruitment Rally scheduled at Shillong in August 2019.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to the unit to reach out and interact with the local populace of District Churachandpur.
