Drugs destroyed
Pothashang News Service: Imphal, June 6 2019: Drug Disposal Committee of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Imphal destroyed drug that were seized by the Bureau yesterday at M/s Khuman Brick Field, Mongshangei Maning Ningombam Raod, Imphal.
The destroyed drugs were Phentazone (152000 tablets), Phensedyl (49 bottles), and Pseudo-Ephedrine (511650 tablets).
A press statement released by Imphal NCB superintendent said the drug disposal commitee consisting of Rakesh Chandra Shukla , zonal director,NCB, Guwahati (chairman), Watham Basu, SP-NAB, Manipur Police, Imphal, Madoli Daso, assistant commissioner, customs, Imphal met at the Mongshangei brick field to destroy the drugs.
The drugs would worth Rs 70 lakhs.
