CASO at Khangabok

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, June 16, 2019: As a part of security measures taken up to prevent from violence a team of Thoubal police commandos and women police today conducted cordon and search operation at Heiyel Loubuk, Khangabok.

A total of 414 male persons were verified during the search operation. Out of them four persons were picked for further verification.

The search operation was led by additional superintendent of police (LO) Th. Deshorjit under the supervision of superintendent of police Dr S. Ibomcha Singh.

The search operation was conducted from 4:15 am till 6:15 am

The four persons were verified and released. Further, two numbers vehicles i.e. one Yamaha Ray-Z, bearing no registration number , red in colour and another one Yamaha FZ 16, bearing registration number – Nil were also picked up and kept at Thoubal PS for further verification.

In another police operation a combined team of Thoubal, police commando, Khongjom police and women police personnel conducted a cordon and search operation at PBS ply wood factory located at Wangjing Sabot Chekon Leikai. During the operation, 23 female and four male were picked up from the spot and brought at Khongjom police station for further verification. After proper verification, all the persons were released, said police.
