Delegates from Japan arrived to attend 75th Platinum Jubilee of “Battle of Imphal” and “Opening of Imphal Peace Museum”

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, June 21, 2019: A large number of Japanese delegate reached Imphal today for commemoration of Platinum Jubilee of Battle of Imphal and for opening of Imphal Peace Museum.

Among the delegates include Ambassador of Japan to India, His Excellency Kenji Hiramatsu.

The Ambassador along with his wife Patricia Clara Aguado Hiramatsu; Minister (Political) Naoki Kumagai and Counsellor (Economics) Takuma Kajita call on Governor Dr. Najma A. Heptula at Raj Bhavan.

Later they also meet Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh at CM Secretariat.

The 75th (Platinum) Jubilee of “Battle of Imphal” and “Opening of Imphal Peace Museum” will be held at MFDS, Palace Compound and Maibam Lotpa Ching, Nambol on 22th June 2019.
