Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya to take charge as Governor of Manipur

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, June 26, 2019: Nagaland Governor Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya will be sworn in as Governor of Manipur on Thursday.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 5: 00 pm at the Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan, Imphal.

President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday gave Padmanabha as additional charge of Manipur. He was appointed to discharge the functions during the absence of Manipur Governor, Dr Najma A Heptulla, who is currently on leave.
