People continue to press for justice

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, July 29, 2019: Demanding justice to the death of N. Babysana Chanu who was found dead at the hostel dormitory of the Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School, Canchipur on July 18 women of Moirangkhom on Monday staged a sit-in at Moirangkhom, Imphal West.

Women folks strongly condemned the death of Babysana who was allegedly found hanging at the dormitory of the school hostel, said Ashalata, a protestor.

Authority concerned must solve the mystery immediately to give justice for Babysana. The women folks will support any form of movement carried out for justice, she added.

Inspector general of police Clay Khongsai had earlier stated that police department will continue investigation against the incident while the case has been sent to the CBI to handle it.

Babysana (Class VII student) was allegedly found hanging at the hostel dormitory of the school on July 18.
