100 acre poppy plantation destroyed

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, December 3, 2019: Poppy plantation of about 100 acres were destroyed at Taphou Kuki and Taphou Naga hill range  and surrounding areas under Senapati police station on Tuesday.

The poppy destruction drive was carried out by a joint team of Senapati district police, NAB, NCB, forest officials and SDO Senapati, Laisen under the leadership of ASP, SPT Pukeho Mao, ASP, SPT Lalminlen Misao and ASP, NAB, Saklemba RK along with DSP Sani, OC, SPT Tezii and OC, narcotics Jonah.

Two FIR cases  have been taken up in Senapati P.S. in this regard.
