Poppy plantation of 148 acres destroyed

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, January 28, 2020: A joint team of NAB, NCB, forest department, 3rd IRB Bn, IW district police, IE district, Thoubal district police, home guards and Tengnoupal district police and revenue separtment on Thursday destroyed poppy plantations of about 148 acres at Tollen hill range in Tengnoupal district.

The team was led by SP, NAB W. Basu, SP, Tengnoupal Vikramjit and DC TPL M. Rajkumar along with ASP, operations, Thoubal S. Sachidananda, ASP, NAB Saklemba RK, ASP, NAB Th. Brinda, ASP Tengnoupal  Sangboi and Deputy CO, 3rd IRB Wangkhomba.
