54 acres of poppy plantation destructed at Moldenphai Village

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 6, 2020: In continuation of the drive against illegal  poppy plantation a combined team of Tengnoupak District Police,  NAB and Tengboupal district administration, on Thursday, destructed about 54 acres of illegal poppy plantation at Moldenphai Village which is under Tengnoupal Police station jurisdiction.

The team was led by Thokchom Vikramjit Singh, SP Tengnoupal, Watham Basu Singh, SP- NAB. It comprises of Manihar, addl. SP (operations) Tengnoupal, Amit, addl. SP(operations) Moreh, John Lamkang, OC Tengnoupal, Reikimdaar Khaling, SDO TPL among others.

Chief minister N. Biren Singh on his Facebook post congratulated the team, “War on drugs, keep continuing.Well done Tengnoupal police.”
