Azad school gets Atal Tinkering Lab

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 10, 2020: Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) installed under the NITI Aayog scheme was introduced at the Azad Higher Secondary School, Yairipok, Imphal East on Monday.

Forest minister Thounaojam Shyamkumar inaugurated the ATL at the Yairipok school.

Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is an approach of the Centre to create an environment of scientific temperament, innovation, creativity among the students studying from Class VI to XII across the nation.

Shyamkumar said both the state and central the governments are focusing on providing model education to the students so that they can compete at par with other students in the world.

The lab gives a great opportunity for full guidance and utilisation of the innovations of the students.

He e said chief minister N. Biren Singh will soon inaugurate Moirangpurel High School buildingd under the School Fagathansi mission. With the support of the teachers and the local residents of the various areas, government schools have been revived in the Andro Constituency, he added.

Shyamkumar also administered de-worming tablet, ‘Albendazole’ to the students of the Azad Higher Secondary School on the occasion of the National De-worming Day.
