Thoubal Police superintendent launches public grievances cell in wake of Covid-19

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 29, 2020: In a view to help in the prevention of the spread of Covid-19, to effectively enforce curfew and lock down, and to help the public who have been staying at home because of curfew and lock down Thoubal District Police under the chairmanship of Thoubal Police superintendent  Dr. S. Ibomcha Singh with the volunteers of Lilong, doctors and staff of Noor Hospital and Research Centre,  Lilong formed Public Grievances Cell,  Lilong.

The cell will do the home delivery services of essential commodities and will help in the transportation and treatment of emergency patients.

The senior police officer handed over 200 hand gloves and a few masks given by chief minister N. Biren Singh  for the public grievances cell.

He also contributed Rs 10,000 to the cell to help in the transportation expenses.
