Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 1, 2020: Considering the present lockdown imposed across the country as a measure to fight against the Covid-19 outbreak Manipur government has on Wednesday ordered to continue closure of educational institutions until further order.
An order issued by the education (s) department and in the name of the Governor said, in continuation of this government orders of March 12 and March 16 and also considering the present lockdown imposed across the whole country with effect from March 30 as precautionary measure to fight against the outbreak of Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus disease), the Governor of Manipur is pleased to order that all schools (government, goverment aided schools including private schools), coaching classes, tuition centres, boardings, etc in Manipur shall continue to remain closed beyond March and until further orders.
