Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister’s Secretariat has resolved to transfer a financial assistance of Rs 2, 000 to each person who are stranded outside the state during the COVID-19 lockdown.

The sum is to be transferred from the CM’s COVID-19 Relief Fund through to respective bank accounts.

Chief minister informing this development on his Facebook post, on Tuesday, urged to refer to www.tengbang.in for details.

On the website the chief minister wrote “My dear brothers and sisters, my fellow Manipuris living far and near. It’s the time of crisis but it’s no time to panic. It is time to settle down and apply our minds to fight against this virus. We are there to reach you out and help you wherever you are. Raise your concerns here and we will try to reach out to you. Let’s fight together and let’s win this battle.”
