Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 10, 2020: Manipur government has allowed to open all essential goods markets including oil pumps in the state on Saturday in view of Easter and Cheiraoba celebrations during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The markets can open during 6 am to 11 am.
Social distancing norms of at least one metre gap is to be maintained while fetching the items.
Sale of petrol/diesel in jerry cans/ drums may be avoided except in rural areas where
farmers may require it for agricultural purposes, an order issued by consumers affairs, food and public distribution commissioner said on Friday.
Easter falls on Saturday while Cheiraoba falls on Monday.
District administrations released lists of shops of essential items and oil stations to be opened on Saturday.
