Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 13, 2020: Another eight tonnes consignment of medical items have reached Imphal on Monday.
The items consist PPE, N-95 and Triple layer masks, Sodium Hypochloride, hand sanitizers with VTM- Kits and Covid-l9 testing reagents for Regional Institute of Medical Sciences and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences have been brought by a special aircraft C-17, Globe Master of IAF under the initiative of Manipur government, said a statement of Covid-19 Control Room, Manipur said.
Ten samples were tested at both the hospitals. All the results were negative, it added.
In view of the increasing need of the psycho-social support during the Covid-19 outbreak, state level psychological helpline is operationalised round the click from Covid-19 Common Control Room, the release said.
There are 32 counsellors providing counselling to quarantine centres and migrant homes covering all the districts of Manipur. Till date 878 numbers of counselling sessions have been conducted, it added.
