Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 14, 2020: Manipur chief minister N. Biden Singh has welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to extend nationwide lockdown for nineteen days till May 3.
Nationwide lockdown for 21 days completes on Tuesday.
Biren said he will strictly follow the decision.
The chief minister thanked the Prime Minister for the nationwide lockdown extension.
“We will follow his will, vision and advice in the fight against the dreaded Covid-19 outbreak,” Biren said on his social media posts on Tuesday after the Prime Minister addressed the nation and announced the decision.
Manipur has recorded two Covid-19 cases. The first patient of the disease was discharged from the hospital after she tested negative in the final round.
