Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 14, 2020: National Medicos Organisation, Manipur unit is offering the services of doctors in various specialities in view of the prevailing situation in Manipur arising out of All India Lockdown because of Covid-19 pandemic.
This was stated by NMO, Manipur unit joint secretary in a press statement released on Tuesday.
In Manipur non-essential medical services in most of the hospitals have been suspended. Patients having non-emergency health problems are facing difficult times during this lockdown. In view of this situation, NMO, Manipur unit is offering the services of doctors, the release said.
A list of 23 doctors along with their contact numbers have been handed out to the media. Patients can consult their problems through SMS, call or Whattsapp from 9 am to 4 pm daily for various illness from the concerned doctors, it added.
