Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 18, 2020: Fencing of porous areas with Myanmar border, now at Z.Choro and Skipe of Kamjong Sub Division and fencing at Phaikoh near border pillar-102 are completed to prevent from illegal entries and Covid-19.
This was stated by chief minister N. Biren Singh posting with pictures of border fencing on his Facebook posts on Friday.
He thanks to Tengnoupal DC, DIG,SP and other officials for their hard work.
In wake of Covid-19 outbreak Manipur government has sealed the Indo-Myanmar border.
Manipur has so far recoded two positive cases of Covid-19. Out of one has been recovered and the was reported stable and healthy.
