Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 19, 2020: In continuation of its drive to crack down on violators lockdown/curfew and those who fail wearing face mask in public to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the state 501 violators were detained along with 300 vehicles on Sunday.
They were produced before the concern Magistrates and fines were imposed totalling Rs 37,200.
The lolice department hereby warn those who do not wear face mask in public and those who violates the lockdown/curfew shall be dealt with strong legal action under National Disaster Management Act, 2005, ADGP (L/O) L. Kailun said.
