Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 26, 2020: Amid the lockdown imposed in wake of Covid-19, Bishnupur district police arrested two persons along with cough syrup and Sinphlex C+ capsules on Sunday from its station gate on Sunday.
They were apprehended by a combined team of Bishnupur district police and its women police from Bishnupur police station gate.
The team seized 300 cough syrup bottles and 27792 capsules of ‘Sinphlex-C +’.
The two peddlers have been identified as Md Najir Ahmad alias Sana ,41, son of late Naha Achebe of Kwakta Sepla and Md Najir Ahmad alias Ithem ,41, son of late Md Ajijur Rahaman of Kwakta Terakhongshangbi.
In connection with the incident a case has been registered at Bishnupur district police station.
