Imphal: Manipur Police continues to crack down curfew and lock down violators and who failed to wear mask in public and not maintaining social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the state.
ADGP (LO) L. Kailun in a press release stated that around 769 curfew and lockdown violators along with 762 vehicles were detained during a drive conducted on Monday.
The detained violators were imposed fines of Rs 1,07,800.
Kailun warned that those who violate the curfew and lockdown will be dealt with strong legal action under National Disaster Management Act, 2005.
