Police arrested two thieves amid Covid-19 lockdown

Imphal: A team of Lilong Police, Manipur apprehended two thieves with stolen articles from their residences at Lilong Haoreibi on Tuesday.

The two thieves were identified as Syed Rizwan, 27,  son of late Md. Habibur Rahaman of Lilong Haoriebi Awang Leikai and Md. Feroj Khan alias Atollei, 30, son of late Md. Anwar Ali of Lilong Haoreibi Chegaipokpi.

The team recovered one gas cylinder, one gas stove, 50 pieces of plates, one pestle and mortar, one bucket, seven electric bulbs an one ceiling fan from their possession. 

The articles were stolen by them from Lilong Haoriebi Awang Leikai Tera Makhong Upper Primary School in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
