CM Biren chairs meeting on bringing back stranded Manipuris

Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Friday chaired a meeting of the State Consultative Committee for Covid-19 to discuss the arrival of stranded and distressed Manipuris from other parts of the country during Civid-19 lockdown.
The meeting resolved that each and every person arriving by train shall undergo compulsory quarantine for 14 days at government and community quarantine centres.
It resolved to conduct medical screening at Jiribam railway station and again at destination in home districts.
It also resolved for RT-PCR testing of the arrived persons as per ICMR protocol.
