COVID-19 positive cases climb to 32 in Manipur


Imphal: Manipur has recorded a total of 32 COVID-19 positive cases with the confirmation of three new positive cases.

The three confirmed COVID-19 positive are a 32-year-old man from Jiribam district, a 25-year-old man from Thoubal district and an 18-year-old boy from Churachanpur district.

The boy from Churachanpur district was a returnee from Chennai.

They were confirmed positive of the virus on Saturday night at VRDL, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal.

“There are 28 active cases under close monitoring,” Manipur COVID-19 Control Room said in a statement released on Sunday.
