Imphal, June 15: A twelve-year-old boy, Isaac Paulallungmuon leaves high school scoring 72 percent in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.
The exam result was declared on Monday morning.
Paulallungmuon, son of Genkholian Vaiphei, resident of Kangvai, Churachandpur creates record becoming the youngest Manipur student to clear matriculation.
He scores 91 in MIL-Vp, 86 in English, 73 in Mathematics, 53 in science, 61 in social sciences and 68 in HSc, thus securing a total of 432 marks out of 600.
His dream was to become an IAS officer. He was permitted to appear the board exam considering his ‘IQ level’.
He was among 11, 884 first divisioners who cleared the exam. A total of 25, 084 passed the examination out of 38, 390 students who appeared in the examination.
