Imphal: Eleven persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 while 11 others have been cured from the disease and discharged from COVID Care centres as on Saturday.
According to Manipulation COVID-19 common control room 11 persons (5 makes, 6 females) were confirmed as new COVID-19 cases at VRDL of RIMS (4) and SDH, Lab Jiribam (7).
They belong to the districts of Imphal West (1), Jiribam (7) and Ukhrul (3). They will be shifted to the COVID care facilities. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
In the past twenty four hours, 11 persons were discharged from CCCs of Meitram (1), Kamjong (2) and Ukhrul (8) after they were found COVID-19 free on RT PCR test.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1593. The numbers of active and recovered cases are 750 and 843 respectively. The recovery rate is 52.9 percent, the control room said.
