SBI donates PPE kits, ventilators

Imphal: State Bank of India (SBI) donated 350 personal protection equipment (PPE) kits and three ventilators to the state tovernment on Wednesday.

Officials of the nationalised bank handed over the equipments to chief minister N. Biren Singh at chief minister’s secretariat.

The chief minister later handed over the PPEs and ventilators to JNIMS and RIMS.

JNIMS director Prof. Th. Bhimo and RIMS director Prof. A. Shanta received the equipments from the chief minister.

Proprietor of Medis & Co., Porompat Ayangpali, Th. Sudhir also donated a D-Box UV Ray Sanitizer for use of sanitizing official files to the chief minister’s secretariat.

Manipur Legislative Assembly deputy Speaker K. Robindro, MLAs Dr. S. Ranjan, L. Sushindro, Th. Satyabrata, H. Dingo, chief secretary Dr J. Suresh Babu, health services additional director Dr Kh. Shasheekumar and other high ranking officials were present at the occasion.
