Imphal: Covid-19 has taken two more lives in Manipur on Sunday taking the Covid-19 related death toll to 15.
One of the deceased is a 73 years old male from Wahengban Leikai, Imphal. He was admitted at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal on Friday with compliants of fever and difficulty in breathing. He succumbed to Covid-19 induced complications.
The other deceased person, 44-year old male, belongs to 182 BN BSF Koirengei, Imphal. He was admitted at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal on Friday. He was also suffering from Acute on Chronic Kidney Disease, Uraemie Encephalopathy, Severe Anaemia and Covid-19 associated Pneumonia.
