Imphal: Dr Uthan, the warrior against Covid-19, who is praised by many for his dedication in treating Covid-patients, has been tested positive.
He has been admitted at Covid ward of Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Imphal.
Chief minister appreciated him for his dedication in fighting the pandemic during the Independence Day celebration.
Dr Uthan was hailed for successful treatment of the first Covid patient of Manipur.
Recently a video of the doctor in PPE suit fainting inside the JNIMS Covid ward went viral. It was reported that he continued treatment of the patients on the same day.
People on social media wish him for quick recovery.
