Imphal: At least 140 persons including 18 personnel from Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new Covid -19 positive cases while 128 have been recivered as on Thursday evening.
The positive cases are from VRDL, RIMS – 12; VRDL, JNIMS-19; Thoubal – 8; Churachandpur – 2; Imphal East RAT – 3; Imphal West RAT – 73; IRL – 1; Kangpokpi – 2; Shija – 1; Bishnupur – 2; Babina – 5; Raj Medicity – 2; Advance Hospital – 9; Ukhrul -1.
They are from Imphal West – 85; Imphal East 10; Thoubal – 8; Ukhrul – 1; Senapati- 1; Churachandpur -2; Kangpokpi – 5; Bishnupur – 4; Chandel -6.
Three persons (Kangpokpi -2; Senapati – 1) out of the general population is a returnee from other state while the rest 119 are locals without any significant travel history. They are being shifted to the Covid care
facilities, Covid-19 common control room said.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it added.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 5725 and that of recovered cases is 3957.
The number of active cases is 1743 and the recovery rate is 69.11 percent.
The cumulative number of deaths is 25.
