Schools may re-open soon

Imphal: Manipur government is contemplating re-opening of schools in the state anytime soon.

In a notice issued on 1st September 2020 by Director of School Education, all the ZEOs and Heads of Schools were informed to submit information needed by the department for re-opening of the schools.

The notice said that “the Department is considering necessary procedures/ways for re-opening of schools after the ongoing Iockdown is over or favourable situation arises whichever is earlier”.

It may be mentioned that schools and other educational institutions were closed since 12th March 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.
