Imphal: In the past 24 hours, as on Monday 5 pm, 194 Covid-19 patients were recovered and discharged while 84 were confirmed as new positive cases in Manipur.
The recovery rate has moved to 75.40 percent.
The recovered Covid patients are from CAPF (32), CCC Lamboikhongnangkhong (31), Senapati (1), Jiribam (16), Kangpokpi (2), UNACCO (64), Noney (1), CCC Thoubal (28), JNIMS (3), JNV Chandel (4) and PR Kakching (12).
State Covid-19 common control room said in the past 24 hours, 64 persons from general population and 20 personnel from Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases.
Thirteen persons (Bishnupur — 4; Imphal West – 5; Churachandpur -3; Chandel – 1) are returnees from other states while the rest 51 are locals without any significant travel history, the control room said.
They are being shifted to the Covid care facilities. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it added.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 7106, recovered cases is 5358 and the number of active cases is 1710.
