New Delhi: Ngangom Bala Devi started training for Scottish Women’s Premiere League. Union Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted along with the training photograph of Scottish Women’s Premiere League Club Rangers FC where Bala is seen practicing along with the teammates.
Mr. Rijiju’s tweeted “Training started.. Good going Miss Bala Devi, the talented and pride of Indian Football at the Scottish Women’s Premier League Club Rangers!”.
Ngangom Bala Devi became the first Indian woman pro-footballer when she signed an 18-month contract with the Scottish club, Rangers FC in January last.
