Imphal: Works minister Th. Biswajit tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday. His elder daughter also tested positive for COVID-19.
Minister’s family took COVID-19 test after a driver of the minister’s wife tested positive for COVID-19. Unknowing of his COVID-19 status, the minister had also participated in the Manipur Start-up Conclave 2020 held at City Convention Centre on Friday.
It may be mentioned that Social Welfare Minister Nemcha Kipgen was also earlier tested positive for COVID-19. She is now tested negative for COVID-19.
