Imphal: Education minister Dr Thokchom Radheshyam on Monday attended National Webinar on ‘Rashtriya Ekatmata Aur Hindi’ on the occasion of Hindi Diwas organised by the department of Hindi, Manipur University in collaboration with Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, NE Region at his office chamber.
Radheshyam said India’s strength is in its unity in diversity.
Globally Hindi is spoken by more than six hundred million people and is among the top languages that has the most speakers. The language because of its easiness and beauty is also loved by the people from across the world. Understanding its importance and value of the language it needs to be popularized. To realize the dream of making India a ‘Global Knowledge Super Power’ it is important that the Hindi language is developed and advanced, he added.
