Mangalore University PG students exam begins at Manipur International University

Imphal: Final year UG/PG examination of Manipuri students belonging to various affiliated colleges and departments of Mangalore University began at Manipur International University administrative headquarters situated at Ghari Awang Leikai, Imphal on Wednesday.

Manipur International University has been declared as a special examination center of Mangalore University for helping hundreds of Manipuri students studying with various affiliated colleges of Mangalore University who have returned back to their home state due to Covid-19.

The examinations are expected to be held till the second week of October. The examinations will be conducted in a free and fair manner and also strictly following the Covid-19 SOP as issued by the state and central government including social distancing etc. This is being done only as a one-time measure considering the future of the students.

Manipur International University is an Autonomous State International University established and recognised by the state government.

Prominent institutions such as Alva’s College (Moodbidri), Vivekananda College (Puttur), Shree Devi College (Mangalore), Sharada College (Mangalore) etc are affiliated to Mangalore University.

Education minister Dr. Th. Radheshyam Singh visited the MIU Campus at in the as to supervise the arrangements and guide the students who are writing the exams.
