Salai investors tear down NEIDP flag

Imphal: Salai Holdings and Private Limited investors torn down North East India Development Party’s (NEIDP) party flag and sign board from its state party office at Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak, Imphal on Thursday.

A prior notice to vacate the office NEIDP was sent to the party president on October 1 by managing director Salai construction private limited, Elangbam Brojendro Singh within 15 days. The office building of the construction company located at Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak has been occupied by NEIDP and in order to continue for functioning and executing official works of the construction company the notice was served.

On October 13 a reminder letter to vacate the building was also sent to the party president.

An investor spoke to reporters that the company had expressed earlier that monthly interest will start to furnish from November 1, due to lack of working place giving of interest is being delayed.

Even as the deadline has been crossed the political party failed to vacate the building, he added.

When the reporter tried to meet the managing director of the company, the reporter was told that he does not want to give any comment on the present issue but told that the reporter could come at court on coming October 26 as there is a court hearing in connection with the company.
